The Comeback of Coupons

March 14, 2012 by noemi

Coupon
Coupons have long been part of the people’s lives. Remember the good old days when your grandmother – or mom – spent Sundays clipping coupons from newspapers as thick as book. Lost smartphone

Losing your smartphone sucks at best. There is always the issue of maybe having paid an arm and a leg for it. Then there are your phone numbers, messages, photos, videos, and whatever else may be stored on the phone. Facebook leads to lower GPA
Facebook leads to lower GPA?

So is Facebook linked to lower GPA? I don’t think that you need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that being on Facebook – or any other social network for that matter – while studying might just be a distraction that can lead to lower grades. Before there was Facebook, there was text messaging. Before that, there was long chats on the phone with friends. I think that it all boils down to one thing: multitasking. Facebook vs IQ Test

So you think your Facebook is locked down to the point that your employer (current and prospective) will not have access to your life. This issue has long been raised and discussed, with people making sure that “incriminating” photos are not accessible to those who are not supposed to see them. Of course, there will always be loopholes. And it really is not all about photos anymore.

With the way things are going, it seems that employers now prefer Facebook to IQ tests in evaluating employees! [Read more…] about Employers Prefer Facebook to IQ Tests
