The world woke up to sad news on October 5th when Apple announced the passing of Steve Jobs. He may not have been a man who a lot of people agreed or saw eye to eye with, but almost everyone who knew and worked with him have said that he was truly one of a kind. Jobs was someone who came up and developed stuff that people didn’t know they needed, until Apple made it.
All writers struggle for inspiration at some stage in their writing career and it doesn’t matter if you’re writing online or offline you’re eventually going to wind up with writers block of some kind. We all have different ways of getting over that particular hurdle and one of my most recent finds in this regard surprised even me. I wound up realizing that the South Park TV series could make me a better writer.

When my sister’s nine-month-old daughter took her first few steps alone, the first thing everyone else did was pull out their digital cameras and video recorders to film and document the entire thing. When our particularly mean boss tripped over his own feet and fell face down on the floor, what some colleagues of mine did (before going over to him and pulling him back up to his feet) was take a photo and privately upload it to our group on a social networking site for a few good laughs.
Every year since 2007, Apple has unveiled a new version of their iPhone, from the original iPhone to the iPhone 3G, 3Gs, and iPhone 4. Well, every year except for this one, that is. Rumors about the iPhone 5 began as early as a few months after the release of the iPhone 4. However, speculation is particularly rife nowadays, with leakages, controversies, and even more rumors on the latest model of Apple’s smartphone cropping up every other day.
