Spread the Joys of Christmas with CardFunk’s Greeting Cards

If you don’t feel like making a fool out of yourselves and other people are using JibJab, you might want to try out CardFunk.com instead. Like JibJab, CardFunk offers several Christmas-related interactive greeting cards which you can try out for free.

Just a brief backgrounder, CardFunk is a site where you can transform yourself into dancing characters by using your own photos. It lets you select different Christmas tunes as a music backdrop, add personal messages and then share your greetings via email, or social networking sites and even on your blogs.

Just in time for Christmas, CardFunk has launched several Christmas-inspired themes – Dancing Christmas Toys, Christmas With the Stars and Wild West Christmas.

Christmas with the Stars spoofs Holywood icons and legends including Elvis, Marilyn and Bob Marley. Anyone Else Addicted to Mafia Wars?

The other day I was hanging around on Facebook and I received an invite to play the Mafia Wars game. I had heard about it, but had never tried. I decided to give it a shot.

Basically you need to do jobs here and there, with the objective of making money. Sounds simple, but it is really addicting. You can increase your level, and the ultimate objective is to grow your mafia clan. Social networks like Facebook represent a perfect platform for the game, because you can invite your friends to become part of the clan.

I also found a cool website where you can get a basic strategy guide for the game. It is called Mafia Wars Tips. There are some parts missing, but the basic information to get you on the right track is there.

The game takes place in New York, but once you achieve higher levels you will be able to travel to Cuba and Moscow. There are rumors that new places will be added in the future too.

If you play games online, this one is a must. The mob rules!

Top 10 Google’s Easter Eggs

I am not sure if this is the proper name for those things, but I heard it around so. I am talking about those hidden games or tricks that you can find online on embed in the code of games and software. Google has its share of them, and the guys from MakeUseOf created a list with the best ones.

For example if you hold Click [CTRL] + [ALT] + [A] in Google Earth you will launch a flight simulator!

The other list items are pretty funny too.

The only flaw is that they missed my all time favorite. Go to Google.com, type “find chuck norris” on the search bar, and click “I am feeling lucky.” You will see the result!
