Four Things You Can Do With Your iPhone When Your Contract Expires

February 12, 2012 by DailyBits

As most Apple fanboys and fangirls already know, there’s an Apple event scheduled for March 7th. A lot of people are saying that this could be the day when the iPad 3 is launched. You might also even see the new iPhone 5 released alongside with it, but until then, all we can do is wait.

The iPhone 4S was released to a mixed crowd last year, who were already expecting the fifth-generation of the device to be launched. Nonetheless, pre-orders for the device skyrocketed amid good reviews and the wonder of a personal assistant that was Siri.

February 1, 2012 by DailyBits

I’ve been trying to find out more about Twitter because I have a new goal to increase my Twitter followers. I’m in the midst of trying to reorient the whole thrust of my personal Twitter account and make it more streamlined in terms of content.

One of the things that I’ve been reading about regarding marketing your Twitter account is that it is easier to get more followers with a spruced up Twitter page. Various marketing experts and successful Twitter users have attested to the pull of a good Twitter background. [Read more…] about Attract More Twitter Followers Through Personalized Backgrounds

InstaBG your Twitter Page

December 22, 2011 by DailyBits

This marketing strategy works with food, makeup and your Twitter account: packaging is everything.  The typical Twitter page is, in a word, boring and generic—the equivalent of a white plastic bag. But with instabg.com, you can decorate your Twitter page with any photo you upload in Instagram.

So how does that attract followers? The InstaBG background immediately makes your Twitter page look different. You personalize your page, instantly communicating your interests, your personality, or (if it’s a professional Twitter account) your subject, topic, brand, or company. Without even reading any of your Tweets, your readers can immediately guess what they can expect from you. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, or a thousand Tweets. Stuff Siri Says: Sometimes Odd, Sometimes Funny, Sometimes Dead On

October 25, 2011 by DailyBits

A lot of people were initially disappointed when Apple unveiled the iPhone 4S instead of the iPhone 5 last October 4. Personally, I think all that disappointment could have been avoided if people reigned in the rumor talks prior to the launch. There were literally dozens of new rumors being spread all over the web each day as October 4 drew closer–and while Apple could’ve issued a little press release to cut down the chatter just a little bit, they didn’t, in true Apple fashion. (But if you think about it, more rumors probably would’ve surfaced had they said something, so maybe it was a no-win situation then.)

Five Ridiculously Expensive Gadgets That You Probably Don’t Need (But Want)

October 18, 2011 by DailyBits

There are approximately 37,978,000 millionaires in the entire world. That might seem like a pretty huge figure at first. But considering the fact that the entire world population is now close to or has surpassed 7 billion, well, that doesn’t seem like a very large number after all. And of these millionaires, only a handful actually belong to the “filthy rich” category–meaning they can spend hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars without making a dent on their wealth.

ForeverGeek Launches New Forum for Geeks

October 14, 2011 by DailyBits

Geeks enjoy having a unique view on the world. Not to say that “ordinary” people are not unique themselves, but let’s face it, geeks look at things from a different perspective, a more unique view that allow them to talk about the things and topics with a level of authority that is entertaining, informative and sometimes controversial.

The best way to see geeks in their element is within a forum setting. It’s entertaining to see how discussions evolve from such a simple topic. For example, a simple discussion on the new 52 series from DC will likely touch on philosophy, psychology, comicbook history and even politics. Needless to say, a geek discussion is entertaining and highly informative. Crib from these discussions and do it in front of other people and you’ll liable to get “egghead” status. It’s one reason why ForeverGeek has introduced the new ForeverGeek forum. The guys behind one of the top sites for geeks on the internet realized that a forum where geeks can meet, congregate and discuss their favorite topics – from movies, TV, games and gaming, gadgets, anime and comicbooks. Name the geek fixation and you can definitely discuss it at the ForeverGeek forum.

The ForeverGeek forum is a natural evolution for the ForeverGeek site. It has been a top site for geek news and information but the guys behind it realized that since a lot of geeks frequent the site, creating a forum for them to lounge around in is just the right thing to do.
