I dream of one day driving a Ferrari. Or even just ride in one. While I am at it, I might as well dream of owning one – until something pulls me back to reality.

That is why looking at this Ferrari coffee table pains me. It is the work of industrial/interior/graphic designer Charly Molinelli, who seems to pride in his work. There are days when I am on an app rampage and start my day by looking at what can be downloaded for free or for a small fee. Occasionally, I come across a relatively pricey app that I might still consider getting just because I think it’s worth it. Some things I haven’t really paid much attention to, though, are apps from artists that I like.

The hullaballoo about .xxx domains has been going on for quite some time, and it probably is not going away unless the majority of Earth’s inhabitants change their perspectives. That is not to say never, but being realistic means that there will probably be a stigma or controversy (or whatever you want to call it) associated with this domain extension.

With the upcoming launch of new top level domains with the .xxx extension, web site owners are going on the offensive to make sure that their names or trademarks are not snapped up by others who would want the .xxx extension linked to that name. Even though the top level domains have not been launched yet, we are at what they call the “sunrise phase”, which is the stage wherein those who own trademarks are given the opportunity to reserve trademark.xxx.
