The hullaballoo about .xxx domains has been going on for quite some time, and it probably is not going away unless the majority of Earth’s inhabitants change their perspectives. That is not to say never, but being realistic means that there will probably be a stigma or controversy (or whatever you want to call it) associated with this domain extension.

With the upcoming launch of new top level domains with the .xxx extension, web site owners are going on the offensive to make sure that their names or trademarks are not snapped up by others who would want the .xxx extension linked to that name.
