Facebook Widens its Lead Over MySpace

Google Chrome OS, Why it Will Not Be a Windows XP Killer

First the facts – Google has officially announced its latest and most over-hyped project yet – the Chrome OS. Google Chrome OS is touted as an open source ang lightweight OS specifically geared for netbooks. Google will be launching it in partnership with netbook manufacturers. And Google Chrome was built upon the Google Chrome platform,  or in other words it is basically Google Chrome running on its own withouth Windows XP or Vista.

Facebook Becoming an Adult Site, It’s Not What You’re Thinking Though

No, Facebook is not going into that kind of Adult thing that you might be thinking when you read the title of this post. What  I mean to say is that Facebook users are getting older. And by older I mean way older.  Citing an independent report on the demographic stats of Facebook’s Social Ads platform by analytics company iStrategy Lab, Mashable is reporting that majority of Facebook users now belong to the 24-54 age range, with siginicant increase in usage by users who belong to the 55 and above age range. Tweetmeme Adds More Buttons for More Retweet Goodness

Are you aware of  Twitter aggregator called Tweetmeme?  If you are, then you’ll be glad to know that the folks at Tweetmeme will be rolling out some new “image buttons” that you can use in other sites to give your valuable tweets more chances of getting “retweet”. This image button is similar to Techmeme’s retweet buttons which show the number of retweets your post has as well as the link for those who haven’t done so, to retweet your updates.
