I remember covering Hunch (in my other blogging gig) when it was announced a couple of months ago. It was a pretty promising web tool that aims to help you make decisions when confronted by a situation wherein you have to make a decision. This event doesn’t have to be important decisions. It can range from the most trivial to the most complicated decision-making incident happens to you at some point in your life. I’m sorry for covering Twitter again after our feature about the Twitter Verified Accounts. But this is too good of a discussion point to make a pass on. While various data are pointing different trends with regards to Twitter’s growth, a particular Harvard study pointed an interesting fact – that amidst its growing userbase, more than half of these users update their profile less than once every 74 days. Recently, Twitter had to face a lawsuit filed by St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa relating a bogus profile created on Twitter impersonating the La Russa. When the issue was brought to Twitter’s attention, the Twitter team immediately took action and cancelled the account. And as far as the Twitter management is concern, they have done their part and ensured that the said violation of Twitter’s TOS was immediately uphold.
