“What Makes U Special” Video Contest
As the Internet enters the life of more people, companies and organizations are starting to leverage it for a myriad of purposes. Petersons is a company connecting students with universities, and they recently decided to use the popularity of YouTube to create a sponsorship contest.
Basically you just need to upload a video to YouTube before July 16, and you must be a U.S legal resident as well. The grand prize for the winner is $5000. Here is a quote for the requirements:
(a) Videos may not exceed 30 seconds in length; must be in .mov, .avi or .mpeg format; may not exceed a file size of 100 MB. Once submitted, an entry cannot be deleted, canceled or modified. (b) In the Video you and your Team must demonstrate: “What Makes U Special?” (c) Sponsor will be looking for a fresh, original and convincing approach to persuade them that you and your Team are special.
Not sure if you noticed, but they explicit that your 30 seconds video can’t be larger than 100 MB. What kind of high definition content they expect participants to come up with? Packing 100 MB of data on a 30 seconds video would be an holographic experience
